For over 15 years, I have been the welcoming committee for hundreds of babies as a Kansas City photographer. Then I've watched them grow; learning how to crawl and then walk; hearing them as they learn how to talk and grow little (and big) personalities; seeing baby teeth come in and then fall out and then come in again in all of the awkward glory. I've watched baby girls become big sisters and I've watched baby brothers become big brothers. And I'm reaching a point where those sweet babies are growing closer to walking across a stage that gains them access to the big, big world.

Through all of this, my style: my art, has grown into an experience that throws away all of the traditional expectations of family photography and focuses on what you want to remember about the chapter you are writing in your family story right now. I strive to capture the mess, the ornery, the sweet, the honesty, the joy.
